From the moment I arrived at the Mornington Peninsula wedding of these two lovebirds, I knew I was in for some fun. It was clear from the beginning that Lachy’s role as “partner-in-crime” was taken very seriously- it takes a lot to match the energy of the one woman force of nature that is Dana and Lachy is the perfect compliment- adding in his own brand mischief here and there! Everything these two do, they do it with their whole heart and that made for a love-filled, tear-jerking, whirlwind of a wedding with the gorgeous The Peacock Estate as the backdrop.
I’m so incredibly grateful to have been invited into their circle to spend this epic day with them both!
As a Mornington Peninsula wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless love stories unfold, but Dana and Lachy’s was truly special. Their genuine connection and wholehearted approach to everything they do made capturing their big day an absolute joy.
From the heartfelt vows exchanged in the The Peacock Estate’s gorgeous vintage chapel to the speeches filled with humour, sentimental moments- and a whoooooole lotta embarrassing anecdotes- these two were the absolute life of the party and everyone knew how special they were to be loved by these two.
Of course, none of it would have been possible without the incredible team of vendors who helped bring their vision to life. The Peacock Estate provided the perfect setting for their celebration, while Ellena Louise Weddings captured every magical moment on film. Lupin Botanical‘s stunning floral arrangements added a touch of natural beauty, and Amanda Lee Make Up ensured Dana looked radiant from dawn till dusk. The DJ From The Other Night kept the dance floor packed, and Roast & Roll Catering treated guests to a delicious feast that kept everyone fueled for the festivities. And let’s not forget Mustangs In Black, who provided stylish transportation fit for a bride and groom.
As I look through the photos from Dana and Lachy’s Mornington Peninsula wedding, I’m filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of their love story. It’s moments like these that remind me why I do what I do – to capture the magic of love in all its forms and create memories for people that will last long after the cake is cut and the guests are farewelled.
