I have been awaiting this Mt Dandenong maternity session with the gorgeous Kaila, Chris & Enzo for such a long time…
It was back in 2019 when my best friend first mentioned her awesome hairdresser friend, Kaila. At the time, we were all young and kid-free, enjoying the golden years of our relationships without a huge amount of thought for what the future would hold. They simpler times, and none of us could have imagined where life would lead in just a few short years.
Over the following years, I got to meet the gorgeous Kaila a handful of times. Each time, she left a mark on me with her positivity, her engaging laugh, and her easy way of accepting everyone she met as though they were already friends.
Little did I know it was the start of a long and not always easy journey for her growing family that I would get to witness and document. From finally creating a very special little life, to welcoming their gorgeous first-born boy at their newborn session in the Yarra Valley, to navigating the chaos and uncertainty of his start in life, and now to the anticipation of introducing him to his new little brother.
I am so proud of this woman and what she has accomplished. Capturing their journey to a family of four has been such an honour, especially being part of such milestones like their Mt Dandenong Maternity Session, and witnessing her grow into an absolutely spectacular mother has been nothing short of amazing—I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
